How does the door system integrate with our existing Building Management System (BMS) for airlock interlocking?
Our cleanroom high-speed doors come standard with an industrial-grade PLC control box featuring dry contact interfaces, allowing seamless integration with your BMS. We support native two-door or multi-door interlocking logic, ensuring that Door B remains physically locked until Door A is fully closed, strictly maintaining your ISO airlock
Can the door curtain and frame withstand frequent Vaporized Hydrogen Peroxide (VHP) sterilization and chemical washdowns?
Yes. The door frame is constructed from flush, seamless 304 or 316L stainless steel, eliminating crevices where microbes can harbor. The curtain is made of FDA-approved, non-porous PVC/polyester material specifically engineered to tolerate aggressive chemical sterilants like VHP without degrading, ensuring full cGMP and EHEDG compliance.
What is the maximum differential pressure the door can handle while maintaining acceptable CFM leakage rates?
The door utilizes a dynamic zipper-edge sealing system and a flexible weighted bottom edge, allowing it to maintain strict airtightness under positive or negative pressure environments. It is designed to reliably operate and maintain extremely low CFM leakage rates at differential pressures up to 40-50 Pascals (Pa), making it ideal for ISO Class 5 to Class 8 cleanroom cascades.
How does the zipper track design prevent particulate shedding compared to traditional rigid doors?
Traditional rigid doors or brush-sealed roll-up doors generate mechanical friction during high-speed operation, which releases airborne particulates. Our zipper track design uses low-friction, self-lubricating UHMWPE (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) guides. This eliminates metal-to-metal or brush-to-curtain friction, effectively reducing particulate shedding to near zero and safeguarding your aseptic processing environment.
